The dysfunction of the City will never be eradicated. It seems that Monteverde isn't pleased with her pet city manager anymore. The council sang his praises, and gave him a 200k salary for said praise. Never fails for council and CMs to bump heads. Councilman MCLymore says another layer of management isn't needed in the PD, is it needed for the CM? Why does he have this Chief of staff? A practicing lawyer from the NYS Senate. Our city continues to spend money on management, and not it's day to day unionized and non-union employees. They beat them down in contract negotiations, and use shop stewards in CSEA to sell them a dream as well. Hopefully they (city) will invest in its workforce.
