Subject: Who's In Charge?

You know things are bad when both Worden Heights and Varick Homes residents show up at a CC meeting to protest Codes Department actions.

Worden Heights: The Codes Department has ordered all homeowners to immediately make their driveways ADA Compliant.

Varick Homes; residents protested unsafe, dangerous conditions that Codes is ignoring.

The Mayor was arrogant and ignorant -- spouting his own version of ADA requirements until Corporation Counsel shut him down. Gisell Martinez advised Warden Heights to HIRE A LAWYER!!! hello? Only Omari got to the point:
Why is Codes wasting time on a neighborhood that doesn't need attention while there are dire conditions at Varick Homes that are being ignored?

So who's in charge at Codes? Who sets priorities?
