If you think the rank and file make too much money here, your mistaken. The city manager makes 200k plus full Cadillac insurance benefits. Every major dept head makes at least 120-150k. My point is the CM has effectively crippled a essential service. With the help of a shit Chief, who only spoke up after his 211 waiver wasn't appealed by the city. The question should be asked to the Chief, what have you done to further that Dept? He was a hat hatchet 🪓 man, trimming the budget, and personnel like the city wanted him to. Now he has fallen from their graces after evicerating the Dept in his tenure. He left an indelible mark of failure in his time there as a chief. Worst one in years!!! He tailed his dept, and now the city is failing us by not having a replacement of character.
