Right, that’s the part that I have a question about. If these levels of staffing are truly dangerous why aren’t there laws, either state or local, about meeting those minimums. It should be a slam dunk.

Can’t really begrudge FD for advocating for themselves, that’s fine. It’s just the rhetoric around it being dangerous is so overused it’s stopped meaning anything to anyone. Especially when we see the stats in the city managers report every month. 7 fires responded to in September, but we live in a state of perpetual danger over staffing levels?
