How dare you. Don't you know that this property is causing emotional duress on all who drive past it as it is a latent symbol of urban renewal. We need to be saved from ourselves at any cost and abolish such reminders of our perceived trangressions./s So it goes. Anyway, the proposal even comes with a disclaimer that there's a chance the property will need remediation. No chit. Isn't that why certain amenities could not be installed up and over a bit in Tyrone Crabb Park. No? Isn't that why the land adjacent to and across from the 'ole pocketbook factory was sold at a compensated price...the developer assumed the risk, as it should be.No? Instead,...Cities, Counties, School Districts, States, Corporations, the Heathcare & Edu industrial complexes etc. were earmarked with Trillion$s, created out of ether, in the aggregate in less than two years and the taxpayer is still being tagged with bs costs. (Not only that but we're being charged interest on this fiat via inflation due to $devaluation...it's basic math. In a short time span the $handlers' narrative has gone from..there is no inflation to, as of this past week, expect more persistent inflation and you'll love it.) Moreover, let's let the new and improved IDA pick who gets taxpayer "incentive$s" if and when the property is developed. "But our assessments went up...we're all gonna be gabillionaires in short time."
