5 MILLION can NOT and will NOT buy the firing of Hauser. It is naive to believe this distraction. Why does Councilwoman Bell buy into this farce? The only thing she has accomplished is adding another high paid position to this City's bureaucracy. We will have a in-house engineer but we will still have HAUSER! This City has successfuly bonded for the original $21,243,100.00 approved in Jan of 04, and now, $5,233,868.00 add them up, $26,486,968.00 That's a lot of moola! We will be taxed accordingly.


"Source of payment: The bonds will constitute general obligations of the City of Newburgh, Orange County,New York(the "city"), and will contain a pledge of its faith and credit for the payment of the principal of and the interest on the bonds, AND ALL THE TAXABLE,real property within the city will be subject to the levy od ad valorem taxes, WITHOUT limitations as to the RATE or AMOUNT, for each purpose."

Now I hope you understand why the reval was so important. Pay attention to the items that were removed to buy the approval of certain councilmmen,UDAG, LDC, aren't these funds obtained from state, county or federal development organizations? Where was the compromise? Weren't these our tax dollars from the jump? To suggest they wanted to BOND to repay IDA,UDAG or LDC is a disgrace.
