Here's an article from the TH-R, what do you think? I read criticism of the Birthing center of Kiryas Joel partially built with grant money, what's the problem? At least they were accountable for the funds they received. Has Larkin or Hinchey ever questioned the City of Newburgh as to where funds have gone that were awarded for much needed projects? What does it sound like to you?

"No one elected to office at the state and national level represents us. Special interests and lobbyists have gotten to them and we are the losers. Donations from unions and special interest groups should be limited and lobbyists should be banned. Government has not been for the people in a long time. The more money they receive from special interests or "important people," the more they are beholden to them in legislating. I have had enough. They should all be thrown out and we should start over, but first we have to ban special interests, lobbyists and certainly the amount of money one person may contribute without the loopholes that exist today. "
