Gracious me, I woke up this morning to read my favorite neighborhood discussions and the cupboard was bare! What happened? I guess you were misbehaving and had to be sent to your corners for a time-out.
This is what happens when intelligent, opinionated, fevered argumentative folks get together. Come on admit it you do get carried away. I told a friend from the past in trying to describe a few of the participants, as pit bulls. When they get a hold of your ankles, they will not let go no matter how hard you shake your leg, they are still there. I don’t like being edited or censored and I am sure you don’t either, my question is, why can’t what is objectionable be removed and what is pertinent remain? Think about it, our nation’s economy affects our economy. We just bonded for Millions! We have a budget coming up that we have no idea how this is going to affect our pocketbook. Secondly, I do not believe there is a poster on this board who has not made up there mind as to who they will vote for in the Presidential election, so why so much persuasive rhetoric? We have much media to listen to and read and privately discuss our doubts and express our angst, so why do we get so carried away? Bless your hearts, may peace be with ya.
