I have and continue to support Regina for more than one reason, she did a great job with helping Rivitalize Liberty Street, she by herself makes sure that every xmas there's something for our youth. The waterfront festival and Gully's were the only show in town thanks to Regina and Ralph before the string of so-called eateries moved in. Regina works hard and is about the right thing, yes everyone has shortcomings but for the most part she has been honest and against crime, drugs, and corruption. Point to someone else that you can say the same about and have the documentation to support it. 21 million dollars in the RED. I would think twice on that 450k settlement before Geoff Chanin has adviced this council. He should have been treminated a long time ago. It's sad that when prior Mayors were in place from Shapiro to Marino the City never had these problems. Mayor Valentine has done quite the fiscal job being the Cities"last Mayor".I think before all is said and done you may see a well earned indictment on a certain council member.My vote will be easy, look at the candidates that the County Chairmen Jacobson should be concerned about, he lives down the street from me and says and does nothing regarding Diana's tax decrease excluding our City, time to move folks. If this budget remains and they layoff any law enforcement personal my family and I will sell and move, enough is enough already. I've been here for 25 years and never seen anything like this in City Goverment. It's sad, Newburgh will be a ghost town if this happens.
