Then why use the name, use the Department position or title? When you use names I tend to believe you have targeted an individual subjectively. How do I trust vindictive dept heads? Have they appraised all their people? Why is this nameless individual on the cutting block? Where do they stand with regard to seniority, (Last hired first fired?) Maybe you just don't like the cut of their strut, or maybe you don't like one of their relatives. If the CM never got an appraisal, how am I to believe any Dept head or their sub-ordinates were ever kept apprised of their performance and made aware of their value to this city. Mr Freeman is not stating an opinion, he is again opening your eyes to the letter of the law. Come on Mr Mayor, "in a perfect world," there would be no discussion, in a perfect world there would be a penalty for disregard of the Open Meeting laws and your arrogance.
