"The fact that the City does not post the detailed budget for the public really doesn't matter....it is available at City Hall and the Library."

Many municipalities post their budgets on line. Yes, while there are two places to view and copy the budget at a cost of $0.25 per page, this only deters and disappoints those who may be interested. Why are city officials hesitant to post the budget on line? There is an Information Technology Dept. that can do this in a snap.

"The old saying that you can't beat City Hall no longer exists...it just requires more homework and better preparation and presentation by the speaker"

How can anyone prepare, when access is limited? Limitation of public information, only creates a misinformed public. Which gives the local authority an upper hand on handling public monies to their own choosing, not necessarly in the public best interest
