Gotta give you credit, Politico, you've an answer for everything.

Recap: Marge Bell is secretly in cahoots with the Valentine-Angelo crew, but is "keeping up appearances" that she isn't, by not forming a consistent voting block with Valentine-Angelo. (For example, she voted with Bello against lending support to the YMCA.) She does this so people won't catch on to her "disingenuousness." However, should Karen Mejia be elected, Bell would suddenly reveal her "true" self, as a nefarious member of the Valentine crew (which presumably Karen belongs to) and POOF the city of Newburgh's death throes will come to a sudden conclusion.

Does Mr. Cracolici support your views? There may be many worthy reasons to support his candidacy, but if this sort of thinking is the basis of his campaign I would worry.

(one more thought - my God, make it stop - why isn't Angelo running with Mejia?)
