No, Mr. Gaul. It wasn't the locked door, nor the semi-public executive session itself that prompted Ms. Bello to exit the council's meeting with the firefighters. It was something called the Taylor Law that caused her to leave. You see, it was illegal for the council to be negotiating directly with union members, and Bello knew this.

Of course, this fact wouldn't have made it possible to write yourself in as a central character to a story that had nothing to do with you, would it?

Are you a reporter, or an author? There's a difference.
