Subject: 26 Year Resident Won't Go Out Without Her Dog

From midhudsontimes.com "(She) doesn’t feel safe going out at night anymore. 'I will not walk off of Montgomery Street in the evening without my German Shepherd with me.' " (because of drug related shooting on Clinton and Liberty St) Is she a drug dealer too? She's lived here for 26 years and still doesn't understand that it's the criminals that get hit?

The police are afraid of that corner and would rather avoid it than do anything about it. Multiple complaints are ignored, the bodega is selling drug paraphenalia and the housing around that corner is some of the worst in the city. Guess what company manages most of those properties. But don't ask the building inspector, he doesn't know that information conveniently.
