Some how we are not looking at the whole picture. Follow the bouncing ball and tell me where I jumped off track.

Trial date set for Newburgh nightclub lawsuit | recordonline.comSep 23, 2009 ... CITY OF NEWBURGH — A federal judge on Monday cleared the way for a trial ... LaMarr, Salvatore Cucorullo of Blooming Grove and Quincy Magwood of New ... Pauley scheduled a trial to begin Oct. 5 in U.S. District Court in New York"

So, they go to court and each side is Represented by Counsel, each interested party testifies, after all is said and done they agree on a settlement. Here comes the questions.
1..Isn't the agreement of the settlement made in the Court in front of a Judge?
2..Is it proper to attempt to renegotiate that settlement with the City Council, open or closed, or by telephone session?
3.. Is it legal for the City Mayor who (was a Councilman then) to be a part of this vote?
4.. How now does local Corporate Counsel get involved?

Please help me, I'm not really getting it! Our Mayor once said that this city and it's government is a "Living, Breathing organism" if this be true, for Pete's sake bring out the RAID!!!
