Subject: Hero Mejia Bullshits the Public Again

Charter review/charter change/government reform. Even if we all agreed to a different form of government tomorrow it would take five years- the year AFTER the people elected in November finish their terms- to take effect. She and her supporter Bell claim that the government is illegal. Really? So they must both be criminals for taking part in it.

Where was the anger at Bell for allowing McGrane to continue to run roughshod over our city for an entire year after Bell took office? Two votes for firing McGrane were there that January 2008 but Bell wanted to see what she could get for herself. Instead she f$%#'ed the city over for an entire year afterwards. She used her third vote to do what she is constantly whining about. If there were three ethical people in those seats, we would have no need to discuss a change in government.
