Your understanding of Regina's involvement in the city is really skewed. She, as a DPPC member, wears two hats and has sanctioned the trashing of the park. She has made a mockery out of what could be a very interesting and regional festival on the river and, ok, she has planted some flowers over the years. This does not give her the necessary qualifications to help run city government. Without a doubt, neither she, nor Dillard, have read the charter, the city contract with DPPC, the Master Plan for Downing park, the city ordinances and codes, etc. Mr. Dillard has a below-the-belt reputation in this community. People know this! Same with Ms. Bell, who uses the council for her private bully pulpit for admonishing everyone, instead of listening to their words and considering their weight. She is blind to the fact that she is more of an amusing freak than a thinking, contributing human being on a city council. Mr. K. you should butt out, your mind is misguided and its obvious you don't live here, because you do not 'see' the situation. You are no constructive help to anyone.
