DPPC receives a lot of taxpayer $$$s from the city to 'take care' of Downing Park, with a full-time Exec. Dir. paid from these city funds. What the Exec. Dir. does is certainly questionable, if the up-coming BMX races are any example of his responsibilities for restoring and preserving the park.

People should try to become more informed. Corruption breeds in an apathetic, uninformed population. Think, learn, question, seek answers and then act, if necessary, based on your better judgment and ethics!
