City Manager's Budget proposal includes a 6% increase in the Water and Sewer Fund. which, of course, the Council will say is too much, so they'll shave it down a bit to look like winners but you're still paying an increase. wasn't it increased a few budgets ago?

Waters & Sewer Fund is separate from your property tax, so it's a convenient 'closet tax'.

and don't be misled by council members who claim that the public is simply ignorant about how taxes work! "Enlighten us oh great one". we completely understand assessments and mil rates. assessments have gone up. so even if mil rates go down, that does not necessarily mean your tax bill goes down.
