This so called "international" festival is an embarassment when we are surrounded by quality events that actually are delightful to attend. Just being on the "waterfront" isn't enough, especially since the "festival" isn't really ON the waterfront, just on Water Street.

At best, it's a second rate carnival, at worst it just reinforces every bad rumor about Newburgh, and a metaphor for the failed tenure of it's main cheerleader.
