Where have you been for the last 250 years? What do you think the Newburgh Conspiracy was about? Veterans have been mistreated since the Revolution and still sign up to "serve". And every war has been about defending capital, taking land not freedom. Why are there immigrants? Because the US has injected itself into conflicts all over South America making living in those countries untenable. One huge example is the Banana Wars. The war on drugs has made South America and Mexico the CIA's playground. Both veterans and immigrants are equal victims in the US's conquer and destroy playbook. And yet when China provides cheap labor for US corporations and invests in foreign infrastructure they are the culprits. Make it make sense!
