Subject: Council candidate prom party turns to shooting?

Does anyone have any incite about what happened last week with the shooting on Fowler? My husband and I saw on the news that there were two people injured at a prom party held by a candidate running for council. There was also a stabbing near by it seems but no one knows if it was related? Neighbors are saying there were a lot of teenagers that were drinking and the party went on until past 1am and the owner of the home where the party started released a statement saying he had nothing to do with it? Very confusing. We have a lot of concerns and questions. Saw a video of over a dozen kids running for their lives. This incident has really shaken up the neighborhood. We haven't heard anything from the City of Newburgh web page. Is their an investigation? Have the police interviewed anyone ? Supposedly the suspects were not at the party, but seems difficult to know when reports state there was like 100-200 people at one point. Are we missing something about this story. Thanks
