Forgot? My very first mention was "U.S. has had 26th straight months of negative real wage growth"...key word is "real" as in according to the "official" rate of inflation, hence "a savings rate at its lowest since 2008, revolving consumer credit at record highs, 40% of Americans will use a BNPL loan within a few months w/ 20% just to buy groceriess and national shoplifting at record highs". As for profits being at all time highs...'depends on the industry. Global economies have been feeding off the easy and cheap money policy implimented since the last financial crisis in terms of their own financing of operations and their consumers. The debt bubble started to implode september 2019, so $9 trillion was made available to US banks -just before- the 'demic came into play. $9 trillion injected into an open economy would have unleashed massive inflation. Hedges were put in place, Trillion$ more were conjured up, the bankstas and Big Corp stayed opened, the peeps sold out to "stimies". The economies, what was left of them as sixty percent of small business went poof, were re-opened, the debt ponzi grew exponentially, only this time inflation is being allowed to manifest (it was always there, just made "affordable"). Simultaneously, the debt bubble was/is imploding, made evident by the regional banks starting to fail a few months ago, to which the fed res and treasury responded with "Programs" and "Tools", e.g. conjured up money. Still, the implosion continues, it's just controlled as everything remains hyper-leveraged and being rericed at much higher rates in line with risk. What is happening now is a draining of money liquidity from every business and citizen who has some form of debt and forcing the sale of assets. This is global. So yes, essentially, the Central Banks are sucking up wealth. Same as it ever was. Only this time it's for keeps. In the interim most peeps will ignore the obvious signs, instead led into the perpetual ruse of clue finding in order to save themselves and the planet from self-hate and destruction. Then, "in one fell swoop" our individual sovereignty will be gone.
