Don't forget the 'For the Many' deep pockets, i.e. Soros, Gates.
"Newburgh has approximately 6,500 active registered voters...". Define active. My reads are as of 02/22/2022 for the city of newburgh around 11,000 registered voters.
Regardless, an indication of the level of voter confidence is when...all electorates combined garner just, say, 10%+- of a municipalities registered voters.
'Similar indication by the numbers for Poughkeepsie and Kingston.
Wealth goes where it is better appreciated, best indicated by the continuing negative net migration of residents and businesses out of NYS. ESG and DEI...it's a ruse. Take away its subsidies, and the "apathetic" voters would be joining the nys exodus. In the interim, the increased living costs is being passed onto a shrinking tax base.
