Subject: Unemployment

Mid Hudson reports; "The cities of Poughkeepsie and Mount Vernon each recorded rates of 4.0 percent. The City of Newburgh was right behind them at 3.9 percent. The City of Middletown recorded 3.4 percent unemployment."

Not surprising given the historical record of poor quality families, community and schools. Too many here and the other cities named depend on public assistance dollars rather than a quality education and diploma.
