Councilman Shakur has urged his supporters to attend school board meetings to see what is going on. The two Harveys, Mayor Torrance Harvey and NAACP President and failed NECSD BOE candidate Raymond Harvey, are on the bandwagon. Raymond Harvey spoke at the last BOE meeting. He used his time to personally attack the newly elected BOE president and added nothing constructive to the meeting. What is the agenda of these three individuals that they are so against raising the standards of the district and having safer schools? They are doing a great disservice to the students. Thankfully the voters soundly defeated Raymond Harvey in the last election. Next May we need to go to the polls to remove Mr. Howard and Mr. Levenstein, the last of the Padilla six.
