Why would anyone run to simply get rid of that nuisance? That is not a reason to run for office. If it were then why aren't you "womdering" running? It's easy for people to tell other people what to do, but another to attempt to actually do it. Anyway, who would want to sit with 6 other people who don't understand what the job entails? You would be one of 6. You think you could get rid of dictator Venning? He would successfully cut you off if you even tried. He knows very well how to exploit the weak politicians in this city and he controls the majority of them. All you have to do is look at the people who are running for Council and you will get a sense that the wealthy- and naive- speculators are throwing their weight and money behind candidates will simply be puppets. Ineffective puppets, but puppets nonetheless. Even "activist" Shakur has acquiesced to the powers-that-be in exchange for a measly one year salary for his loser son in the Fire Department.
