I am really tired of these ignorant naysayers. Whether you like the festival or not, you can't deny the ripple effect.

People visit Newburgh specifically for this festival, they spend money, they pay sales taxes and now that we have an accommodations tax (effective April 1), there's another revenue stream.

It's simple math: additional tax revenue improves city coffers which funds city services.

Stop sitting on the sidelines complaining and maybe actually make effective change.
