Only in Newburgh would an event that brings joy to over 60k people every year be cancelled because of the egos. Both sides really need to put their big boy pants on and stop the pissing contest. Compromises and concessions need to happen on both sides, but the finger pointing and scapegoating is going no where. Our children deserve better. Our community deserves better. We need less chest beating and more discussions about how Newburgh can have their beloved festival back on the calendar. Not threats of moving it to another community. Anyone know what the latest updates are? Because as of yesterday it was a continued pissing contest..
