Can that chief serve two masters? In other words, even on a PT basis, how can he work such a high level position on two fronts? Newburgh should be expeditious on replacing this Assistant Fire Chief, so continuity can be kept in the Newburgh ranks, given the fact of them running a Manning, and apparatus deficit. Tired of my town tax moneys supplementing Newburghs paid staff! All because some council geniuses cut their department. Volunteer numbers aren't that great as well, and by our resources being allocated to a frivolous muni isn't doing us any justice. So I this chief has a good new career, and Newburgh rapidly replaces this first line officer. Smells funny that a guy is running a department on a part time basis, and still being a first line supervisor in another department! Double dipping.
