Anthony Geraci was hated within the police department and not liked at all among members of the community. After being a member of several boards over the years I have never heard so many negative things said about one person. Even Mr. Venning would express is disdain for him on a more frequent basis. I recall one specific incident in which the city clerk called him Anthony and he responded by berating her for not referring to his as chief. His lieutenants referred to him as little tony. Sounds like the city couldn’t be happier to have parted ways and unfortunately the school district has taken on significant baggage without doing their due diligence. Especially for someone that has no interest in Newburgh. So sad
