I hope that now that the election is over the White Collar Crime Task Force will wrap up its investigation and make its findings public. If Ms. Hines is vindicated, so be it. Then charges should be brought against the six seniors who allegedly signed affidavits saying that Ms Hines bought their primary votes. If she is not vindicated, however, she should never have appeared on the election ballot. There is no sense debating this. Ms Stewart will take office after the first of the year, and everyone should support her.
