my crystal ball is revealing a giant lawsuit against the city. the more info emerges, the more irresponsible the Code Department, Manager, Corporation Counsel and City Council appear.
Remember the very 1st response? "It's a private company we can't get involved" to the shocking fact that Codes knew about the boiler months before but didn't follow through, to the incredible apathy of the law department "our hands are tied", to the Council's mushy reliance on the Executive Office to 'look into it". ....noone smart enough to do the right thing? a pretty clear case of negligence; can you sue for ignorance?
