Cen Hudson Sir: I posted my above message sole for information. I haven't been on here in awhile and I come back and it is the same old complaints about the same old people. Besides his past rants, residents complain that he doesn't let citizens speak at meetings, he doesn't let department heads speak to the media. I hope you are correct, that he is trying to change for the better, but time will tell, my gut, he will rant again, but I'm willing to wait and see. Keep up the good work, you've always been a level headed citizens making good points.

My other issue is coming back I was in awe with all the racist comments. I'm reading the whites are blaming the blacks, the blacks are blaming the whites. In reading the post, both sides have valid points but what is anyone doing about it. Perhaps a round robin type meeting with a mediator, and both sides speak freely, and others listen to what is being said, acknowledge hearing the other sides points and then together come up with some consensus on how to address the issues. Having lived thru some of the most violent crimes and issues in Newburgh, I see nothing has changed. Does the council seen the mistrust the community has of them If so, what are they doing to fix the image? Sorry for my rant.
