The waterfront project (proposed long before the market crash) has gone nowhere. Storrs consists of a future parking garage funded by the state. Warwick Grove is at a standstill. Now this developer has to BORROW $300K (chump change in that industry) to build a house or two on Parmenter? You don't see anything wrong with this picture? Why are these guys hanging around Newburgh doing nothing except looking for handouts and snuggling up to city officials? Sure looks like they don't have enough capital to buy a ham sandwich, let alone develop Carchietta's property- even if handed over to them at a bargain basement price. This is no different from all the past pie-in-the-sky failures Newburgh welcomed with open arms.
