Ah, but you forget I'm a banker, and as such know that I'd have to be stupid to buy a non-income producing property in a poverty area during a long-term recession, and think I would be able to flip it at any kind of profit UNLESS UNLESS I could buy the property for next-to-nothing and convince the city to INCREASE the time allowed for development to say, 2 1/2 years.

Ordinance changes, special favors, giveaways and turning a blind eye...It's called, "You scratch my political back, and I'll make sure the scratch is returned, wink wink". It's called Valentine doing business as usual, Green.
