There was never any plan for that building. It was payola to the social program mogul Lamar and co. Who else gained from this buyback? Not the city, not its residents, not the taxpayers who funded it, not the voters. It has been off the tax rolls without a plan. The city took action to pay for it, did nothing to improve it, kept it off the tax rolls and is now requiring a buyer to prove financial stability? HAHAHAHA! What a joke!
