It all kinda numbs the brain when you think back on all the waste. When I was mentally reviewing the whole bathhouse building for instance, McGrane's "Mercado" popped into my mind for some reason. Remember the Mercado????? I had completely forgotten about it until today. A Google and some surfing in the office would have been sufficient, but McGrane, McKenna, and maybe some others (can't remember) flew out to L.A. for a few days at the taxpayers' expense for "research" on such a project for Broadway. Never heard about it again. Cha-CHING.
