HyEThey incorporated this brilliant idea along with others that have gone NO where! Taken from the SUSTAINABLE Master Plan.

5. Develop a comprehensive Business Support Center
· Establish “Family-Owned Business Loan Program” – (IDA maybe?)generate $10 million in loan projects
· Hire a Business Specialist ( was that Lourdes?)
· Create database of businesses in the City of Newburgh.
· Develop a business resource guide.
· Redesign and package small business loan and resource materials. (IDA again?)
· Develop a database of available industrial, manufacturing and commercial properties
within the City of Newburgh.
6. Begin construction on West Street Med/Tech Business Park
(Begin? ain't it done, what else do they want?)
7. Investigate business incubator possibilities, including retail “Mercado”.( in NYC we called it the Park Ave Market)

The ( )'s stuff is mine. If the city doesn't kiss and make up with the IDA who will do it? It's what you call cutting off your nose to spite your face!
