Some things to consider:

Domestic Violence is a serious matter. Help is available. Please call the The National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-7233 if you or someone you know is a victim of domestic violence.

Mayor Harvey is not responsible for the actions of another man, even if it is his twin brother.

That being said, Harvey's threats to stifle or shut down people who either don't share his views or say something he doesn't care for are becoming more commonplace. This month he threatens to sue someone for reporting he is related to a D.V. suspect. Last month he has a speaker forcibly removed from a City Council meeting for sharing his opinion (the "blood on your hands" statement) and threatens his livelihood (Harvey-- "and your a city employee!") A later speaker at the C.C. meeting shares how she too felt Harvey was threatening the ousted speaker. On the Facebook group "Living in the City of Newburgh," another woman shares how she was in line to share her public comments at the meeting, but left rattled and afraid immediately after the speaker's ejection and Harvey's following four minute angry tirade-specifically because of Harvey's demeanor.

These are not isolated incidents.
