The Corporation Counsel is supposed to be a sort of general contractor for the city's law needs. Unfortunately our GC is ignorant and has made many missteps costing this city a fortune. Yet the Council "respects" this dismal failure no matter who's sitting there. What has it been? 20 years? She's supposedly more familiar with land law but has screwed up there too. It's a losing battle.
