Subject: Parent Rage

Considering the post regarding heritage school and the NFA assault it is becoming more apparent that parents and the community at large are less civil and more pushy with their own agendas. This is the problem, a big problem with the schools - parents assuming they are right and caring less to cooperate and be better role models for their children.

Beyond these incidents there are incidences every day in these schools involving parents and their children "asserting their rights" rather than focus on what is required to get a better education - missing homework, test failures, absentee problems, misbehavior, violence and rudeness rule the day among many families and their children.

And it is not just the parents. This district has a lot of similar challenges with the unions, administration and a dysfunctional board. Just maybe the parents and kids see all of this as permission and an extension to be just like them.
