Congressman Ryan has now announced a grant of $4,000,000 for the Newburgh Landing pier. The mayor says there are several cruise line companies who are interested in using it, and they could take Newburghers to exotic locations in the Caribbean and Europe. Say what????

There are a couple of cruise lines that do fall foliage cruises on the Hudson, and I suppose the Burgh could be a port that they stop at. Where is the mayor getting his crazy information from though. Did he dream that?
