Consider, the ACL has since supplanted the City of Newburgh with two cruise harbors within its hudson river cruise itinerary. As well, the ACL cruises are seven to eight days within eight ports of call. In lieu of eliminating the West Point port (which is a possibilty and may be the reason why the 'Burgh port has been earmarked), I don't think the demand for an additional port of call is there. Regardless, the "optimization" is already being front run, i.e. the development of a 'FoodTec' program replete with daycare services.
