CHD, I think it's reciprocal in terms of feelings for both parties, Venning and FD. Definitely no love lost. But Venning is a numbers oriented manager, council looks favorably upon this. But like anything data driven, statistics can be manipulated. Not saying that this is the case, but for a life threatening occupation, a sense of humanism is needed. Venning is emotionless when it comes to any interaction formally or informal. Honestly, I think it stems from his time as the comptroller, then acting Chief of the Department Ahlers was in charge, and dynamics were different, politically and departmentally. The city has tied loose ends in contracts city wide. Buybacks of time, and contractual manipulation by high paid city lawyers have left a department in ruins. FJ Spinelli is nothing more than a spineless, carpetbagger from Westchester, whom the city helped obtain a 511 waiver to collect his six figure pension, as well as his six figure current salary. He's taking this literally to the bank! Good job on all sides. Budget 2023 right around the corner. Stay tuned and Unions stay strong. Oh, Covid is back on the rise, let us not forget our elderly, children and first responders! God bless Newburgh and no place else! 😂 Shout out to Capt Brendan Hogan, former union president, and sellout. Worst contract ever!!!! Guess a promotion under Donat, and healthcare concessions was the only way, huh brother?. Glad I found a job out the city of Newburgh, b.c.( before castration ). Enough of my rant, safe travels to the brothers in the FD, stay safe with the staffing and engine company changes. The Dems have torn asunder the very fabric of our Republic. Trump 2024!!!!!! 1/6/2020#NWO#DONTTREADONME!!
