Why is it acceptable to pay anyone in IOUs that have a decreasing purchasing "capacity" in the double digits annually (see Shadowstats)? Maybe the current rank and file firemen are paid under their capacity. Chit, maybe everyone is underpaid relative to their capacity. Maybe the ministry of truth can straighten this skewed reality up. Yeah, that's it. Mama's gonna keep baby cozy and warm...
