"Mayor Torrance Harvey, meanwhile, told Mid-Hudson News that the city will not allow the fire department to “bankrupt” it."

Harvey and the city council sure weren't worried about bankrupting the city when they gave themselves raises--during the pandemic when the community could not question or discuss the matter no less. I doubt bankruptcy was a thought when they swiftly fired Donat and hired the current city manager--but only at the current city manager's demand of a $50,000 raise. I'm sure bankruptcy wasn't a thought with the recent decision to hire a "media firm", or hire a professional photographer.

Bankrupt? Man, please. Harvey, you and your minions already know what i'm about to say, but i will state the following for those that are inclined to believe the lies that you tell, and so that you can't feign ignorance. Staff the fire department effectively and correctly, THROUGH ALL POSITIONS, and you will have sufficient fire protection without egregious amounts of overtime. It's that simple.
