I was there then and I'm still here. You all left us! The group fighting now are mostly recent transplants. Mostly business owners and real estate adjacent professionals. The local cop, nurse, teacher, etc. the people who had working class roots here and were raising families here, they either got pushed out in the 2011 tax hikes or they moved out of disgust in the politics. There are many new good people here but they don't have the conviction to stick around, they get frustrated after 5 years and sell and move out when they realize that the problems run so deep.
