Subject: Fire Department Illegal actions

I hope the City's civil service department informs the Newburgh Fire Chief, and his subordinates about how a temporary position works. The union president was made a provisional Lieutenant, provided he placed in the top 3 in the state civil service promotional exam. Unfortunately he didn't, and now the Chief is keeping his buddy in that position, despite civil service law. He is taking a position that belongs to someone else who scored higher. It's a travesty that in this day and age, foolery and nepotism is still in play. So do the right thing, Spinelli, please follow Civil Service Law!!!!!!! It's almost like when some guy(s) on the PD forced new guys to take off to create overtime for retiring members. Their is unseen injustice in the FD. Chief do the right thing, be honorable, and let the next rightful person take THEIR earned position!!! Stop the nonsense. I hope the council, and the public see the corruption in our upper ranks of the Fire Department. Place is being run like North Korea. I bet the City Manager doesn't even know this, hopefully, he will now. Merry Christmas ☃️🎄 ya filthy animals ( Dexter, Bedetti, Camacho) you know who you are. The new guys on the job aren't scared of you. WE WILL EXPOSE THE TRUTH. TIGHTEN UP!?!?! Next up, a lawsuit, if this isn't remedied. Do the right thing Spinelli, stop letting these minions do your dirty work. Shame on the Union for abusing it's power, and members! Ask the union president if he should be in that position, question is would he be there if he wasn't the prez? Shame
