Had to jump on this, wtf does that have to do with the Covid outbreak in the department? What is being done for mitigation? What is being done about the temporary position that is stopping a member from being promoted? Ageism is an accepted form of discrimination, that leads to litigation that produces a liability for the offending party, i.e city of Newburgh. Hope the Covid problem in the dept, as well as this issue of illegality in position, is dealt with in a amicable way. Demote the individual as per civil service law, not in 2022, now...... Would you like it if someone was stealing from you. P.S. Chief, 🤔 maybe if you spent more time on doing the right thing by the department, instead of plagerizing defunct medical excerpts, Covid wouldn't be pushing the ot budget into the stratosphere, and your union president flunky wouldn't be stealing someone's rightful position. The school superintendent is stepping down, after an investigation!!! Hope you guys don't get investigated 😉
